Tic-Tac-Toe Sandwich, Bento Lunch #232

N loves tic-tac-toe. We went to Farmers Market and I bought these delicious grape tomatoes and this is the first time I am adding them to his school lunch. Hope that he will eat them up. Did I mention before that N is a very picky eater? I try not to label him as picky but his lunches are almost always with the same foods so that he would eat them. Whenever I include something new, he would come home with unfinished lunch.I try not to give up on adding new varieties of foods but at times it is discouraging to open his lunch box after school. If you have a picky eater you get what I mean. I am linking this lunch to BBN,red theme

  2. Very nice tic tac toe sandwich! I have a picky eater too so I know all about that challenge. how did it go with the tomatoes? My one picky eater won't eat tomatoes :( I still stick one in every now and then just to see if she tries it - my other 2 daughters love them!

  4. Clever design!

I have a picky eater too and I take the opposite approach, I throw everything into the lunch and see what lands. Some things I recycle into dinner but a lot gets wasted. The environmentalist in me hates the waste, but its so worth it for the one day a week my daughter actually nibbles a carrot stick!

Me too, I usually recycle some of the foods that he did not eat into dinner or into my tummy!
