Bento Lunch #244: Roll-Ups Bento

We had company over yesterday evening and I went blank with no idea whats for lunch today, happens to me quite often. Traders Joe's opened last Friday close to where we live. There is only one store in the whole of FL, wish they have more. It was packed with people from all over and quite difficult to move around, not to mention the parking problem.Hubby told me that I need to get a huge cooler for the suv looking at the way I shopped, funny.

Monday is President's Day here in America and it's a Public holiday as well as Tuesday. Have a great weekend and holiday!

  • Colby cheese and ham roll-ups .I flattened the bread with a rolling pin, add the ham and cheese, roll them up together, cut them and added couple of picks.
  • Cucumber slices
  • Seedless green and red grapes
  • Yogurt stars from Trader Joe's

  2. First of all, YEAH that you have a Trader Joe's!! I'm in MI, so we have a couple but I have to drive an hour and a half each way to get to the closest one. Still, worth it every so often! Love my Trader Joe's.. we've had those yogurt berry stars before. Very fruity and yummy. Cute lunch of course! Love the idea of checkerboarding the cucumber too.. may have to snag that one to try out myself!

    1. Ming, thank you :) Yes, we are allowed and encouraged by the school to join for lunch. I seldom do it though. Wow, the schools at your end is quite strict.
