Review: PlanetBox Shuttle

I was excited when the nice person at PlanetBox contacted me to review their new addition, PlanetBox Shuttle. I have also written a review of their PlanetBox Rover sometime back that can be found HERE.

When it arrived, I was very impressed! This recent offering is a great addition to their spectacular line of containers. While they suggest it as suitable for small meals and snacks, it is certainly deep enough for a complete meal especially one packed tightly in the bento style. The modest width will make it easy to use even in sometimes crowded lunchrooms at school. Their construction and finish of stainless steel, like their Launch and Rover models, will ensure durability and easy clean-up. It came with the Tall Dipper which easily keeps such foods as applesauce, yogurt and more separate from the rest. The Big Dipper and the Little Dipper from our PlanetBox Rover also fit nicely in the Shuttle.

The bag and magnets we received are a beautiful red with cheerful graphics, other colors are available also. All of them are  independently certified to be safe from lead, phthalates, BPA, and other harmful chemicals and have room to include their optional cold kit.

Here are some of the things I love best about the new PlanetBox Shuttle.
  • Stainless steel construction for durability.
  • Convenient size.
  • Easy to clean.
  • Deep enough for their tall dipper.
  • Well designed and constructed carry bag (great looking too!)

Tuna pasta bento, Snack bentos and Mom's flatbread bento (4)

It's hard to believe that we are in the fourth week of summer holidays. We are having so much fun and time seems to fly by so quickly! I can't remember exactly when these snacks and lunches were made since I have a backlog of pictures.

We love our cute Panda bento box and accessories.

In this bento lunch:
  •  Flat bread with pink baran, peas and sunflower seed in small pink container.
  •  Veggie stix and cherries
Here are a couple of snack bentos packed in our Goodbyn bynto box.

Happy Father's Day Tools Bento and New Lunchbox Love Notes Review

Nikolai has been planning to make a Father's Day bento and we decided to make it earlier since we will be out of town soon including Father's Day.

Sayplease.com  again generously sent me several sets of Lunchbox Love notes sometime last month and we are always happy to have extras. I have been using them awhile now and our whole family loves them! These notes are not only for kids but for anyone at anytime. Not only do they have a cheerful, encouraging and tender thought on one side, but on the other side you'll often find some interesting new bit of information. It really makes the lunch complete; food for the tummy, a touching thought for the heart and soul, and a little something to feed the mind!

Nikolai and I made this bento and I am sure Daddy will be very happy to see it during lunch time at work.

In this bento lunch:
  • Sandwiches cut to tool shapes with bread crusts as hand grips and fruit leather lettering.
  • Daddy's favorite organic peas with picks.
  • Watermelon cut and stamped with car shape.
  • Lunchbox Love for loved ones from vol2 and packed in an Easylunchboxes container.

Here are the supplies or similar that I used to make and pack this lunch.

Butterfly bento and cute bowl of Mac & Cheese lunch (2)

How are y'all doing? I made this butterfly bento just before the school holidays, and I am only posting it now.

Annie's organic Mac & Cheese was our lunch after we came home to an almost empty refrigerator except for frozen foods. Besides, I can't wait to use the cute bowl which was given to us by the Manager at A&W during our vacation. He was very kind to give us several bowls and my hubby wanted his lunch to be served in one too, lol.
