Bento Lunch #251 : Moon, Stars and Mars Bento

We went to the beach during the weekend, had a lot of fun and looking forward for our next trip. Spring break is around the corner and the beach is already crowded with people. I am on vacation mode since the weekend and can't wait for the holidays! The boys (my hubby and N) talked about planets and this bento was inspired by their conversation. Linking this lunch to BentoLunch.net

  • Moon, Stars and Mars turkey and provolone cheese sandwiches. Flattened the bread with rolling pin. Mars is in red color (used food safe marker)
  • Organic celery sticks and ranch for dipping.
  • Strawberry slices
  • Wheat crisps in snack container
Here are the items or similar that I used to make this lunch.

    1. Thanks Keeley :) I found out that it's easier to cut shapes when the bread is flattened.

  5. Lovely bento, Rina, love the moon n stars n ur cute monkey container. When's spring break n how long will that be? We are having a one week School holiday next week. Over here, we do not hv 4 seasons, so it's just called the Match holidays. Oh, I tried to bribe LT in eating a whole broccoli, din wk either. :( So still back to cutting into small pieces n mixing into his rice.

    1. Ming, thank you:) There will be no school from this Friday onwards and he will resume school on 3/19.
Does LT find the broccoli in his rice? N will not eat if he finds even small pieces, he will move it to the side of his plate. Lately, he ate spinach, cucumber and salad BUT only one at a time ( one spinach leaf, one cucumber slice etc)!
