My Favorite School Lunch Supplies

I thought that it would be nice to share with you the bento supplies that I love and frequently use. I have used all the products listed over the years and I recommend them because I feel they are great products, helpful for my bento making, and are made or supplied by companies that I trust. If you are new to bento, I suggest you start with a bento box that meets most of your needs, some picks, cutters and silicone cups.

I enjoy the variety of lunchboxes available and have a nice collection of them, but you only need those that meet your needs. Here are just a few that I used most often and find myself grabbing them when I need to pack lunches fast, they are in no particular order.

Food picks are my favorite supplies to spruce up a lunch. A simple lunch can be turned around to be cute and fun with food picks and it doesn't take much time or effort to do that. I get most of my bento supplies from my favorite store, Bento USA, they ship worldwide and have a huge selection of bento items! These are some of my favorite food picks, I think that once you start using them you'll find your favorites too.

I also love cookie cutters, but I don't own as many as I wish. Some of the initial ones I acquired are the circle, heart and alphabet/number shaped cutters. They are very handy and you can create many designs with those. I also love the smaller cookie cutters which allow me to cut fruits, veggies and cheese into fun shapes. Here are some of my favorite cookie cutters.

Silicone cups and condiment containers are great and I use them a lot. Silicone cups also work as separators and there are many cute designs out there. Here are some of my favorites.

Baran food divider sheets are awesome and it adds instant cuteness to a bento box. I also own several fun egg molds.

Some of the bento decor items that I used for a finishing touch are icing eyes and food safe markers. I also like my crinkle cut knife for cutting carrots and cucumbers.

You also need a good lunch bag (although I own a collection of them, I'll share here some that I used most often), ice packs, utensils and water bottles. Here are some of my favorites.
