Review: Trudeau Fuel Lunch Boxes and Initial Bento

I have several Back To School Lunch Box ideas to share with y'all and I am very pleased to start with sharing my experience with Trudeau's Lunch Boxes. Our first was purchased at a local store, initially because we thought the size would be practical for our son who has a small appetite. It has become my husband's favorite as he is particularly fond of the fact that the top is attached and therefore there is no chance for it to become separated and lost.

The one piece construction is very sturdy and made from polypropylene which is both eco-friendly and BPA free. It is also dishwasher safe. Of particular interest for us and others with young children is that we found it to be easy to open when our son started kindergarten and we were concerned about him having difficulties in the relative short time allotted for their lunch.

My awesome followers or those who just stop by for a visit to my blog will notice that Fuel Everest lunch boxes find lots of use. Back in April, someone from Trudeau Corp. featured some of N's lunches in their social media and as a thank you gesture for using their products she offered me a choice of something from their product line. I thanked her, but left the choice to her and was surprised to receive a box a few days later with the items shown below which are ideal for the upcoming school year. I particularly love the Trapeze lunch bag which will hold the lunch box flat. Make sure to check back for more reviews on other lunch boxes.

Here is a bento lunch from his Kindergarten year.

Disclosure: These items were given to me as a gift. I was not compensated in any way for this review and the opinions expressed are my own.

Here are the items that I used to make this lunch.

  3. Have you tried the Fuel Juice Bottle? It is the perfect size for my daughter's lunch, but I'm afraid it will leak. (I didn't see any comments about this in your reviews, so I apologize if it is in there)
