Earlier this month
Modes4u a Hong Kong based online shop sponsored me to choose a bento box to review on my blog.
Modes4u also carries cute stationery, fabrics, bags, accessories,DIY clay sets besides their very cute bento items. Their kawaii products are directly imported from Japan and the USA and ship to customers worldwide.
During our correspondence, we were in Paris on vacation and the
elegant white fruit shop Lacquer bento box caught my eyes. It is even stated Paris behind the box, how nice is that. It is double tiered and comes with a band to keep the box secure. This box is hand painted with lacquer by Prime Nakamura and imported from Japan. The artwork is stunning, bright and cheerful featuring a Paris fruit shop with some cute fruits that might encourage kids to eat more fruits.
This box is microwaveable safe without the lids. It is also dishwasher and BPA free. I have found two tiered boxes to be convenient to separate variety of foods. It also fits nicely along with the ice pack and drink container into some of my son's slim lunch bags, remaining flat. You can find this and more super cute bento items at their
online store.
In the bento: Top tier- strawberries cut into rose shapes, seedless green grapes. Bottom tier- Igloo shaped sandwich with provolone cheese and colored with food safe marker, penguin shaped sandwiches with provolone eyes and colby beak and feet and surrounded by broccoli florets. Linking to

Disclosure: Modes4u generously provided me with the item for
review without cost to me. Other than receiving the product, I have
not received any compensation to write this review.
