Dog Bagel Bento

I hope everyone had a great weekend. This mama has been sick for about two weeks now and it's perhaps the worst illness I've had since Nikolai was born. I've been trying to take it easy and get lots of rest and gratefully I'm being spoiled rotten by my hubby and Nick. Lunches are still being made and packed by my hubby, mostly simple ones I guess but I think there were a few fun ones of which he took some pictures.

We were low on groceries when I made this lunch a while back, so I had to get by with what I had on hand. Grocery shopping isn't one of my favorite chores, how about you? The bagel is Thomas' brand maple french toast flavor which is limited edition (I hope that they decide to continue this flavor since it's so good) and I tell you, it smells and taste great! I added some facial details to make it look like a dog. I've also made other characters which I'll post later.

Dog Bagel Bento

In this bento lunch (packed in a Planetbox Rover):
  • Main compartment - Dog themed bagel with cheddar cheese ears, mozzarella and raisin for nose and raisin eyes.
  • Upper left - Organic apple pieces.
  • Lower left - Cheese crackers.
  • Center - Raisins
  • Upper right - Cereal bar.
Here are the supplies that used to create and pack this lunch.

Hello and welcome! My name is Rina. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and our amazing son. My goal is to present our son a variety of foods that are healthy, mixing the cultures and ideas in packing balanced lunches. I also try to present them in a fun way which led to my collection of bento boxes and accessories. Thank you so much for stopping by!
