Bento Lunch: Rain Rain Go Away, Umbrella bento

It was raining much of last week and that inspired this umbrella lunch. Thankfully it did not continue to rain during the weekend so we were able to enjoy the great outdoors under mostly sunny skies.

In this bento lunch:
  • Main compartment - Half of pumpernickel and half of whole wheat sandwiches. Centers are cut with an umbrella shaped cookie cutter and swapped. Raindrops are from Asiago and Colby cheese. Pretzels sticks.
  • Lower left - Carrot chips and umbrella shaped cucumber slices.
  • Upper left - Seedless red and green grapes.
  • Center -Mild cheddar cheese cut into an umbrella shape and a cute pick.
  • Upper right - Goldfish crackers. Packed in our Planetbox Rover.
Here are the supplies that I used to make and pack this lunch.
