Penguins Bento: World Penguin Day 2014

Happy Friday! The 25th of April every year is World Penguin Day. I made a quick bento today for Nikolai knowing that he is going to love it. I'll be going to our local farmer's market today since it's their last day here till around fall time and I'm planing to stock up on local honey. Our favorites are Orange Blossom and Wildflower flavors.

Note: If you like what I am doing here, I would also love for you to follow my Facebook page since I post more often there with some cute and fun foods which I occasionally find on the web.
Y'all have a wonderful weekend!:)

  In this bento lunch:
  • Penguin shaped sandwiches with icing eyes, colby beaks and feet with nori flippers (free hand cut). I used food safe marker for the little penguin's pupils. The penguin family are on yogurt covered raisins. Ranch for dip in a small container.
  • Sugar snap peas with a cute penguin pick.
  • Cantaloupe cut into little penguin shapes.
  • Far right is a cloth napkin. This lunch is packed in a Laptop Lunches.
Here are the supplies or similar that I used to create and pack this lunch.
