Mini Veggie Corn Dogs bento

I think this is the quickest bento I have ever put together so far thanks to my freezer stash. We love MorningStar Farms frozen foods and it only took me a couple of minutes to heat these up in the microwave. While it was heating, I started assembling other foods into his bento box. I waited a few more extra minutes for them to cool down before transferring them into his Easylunchboxes container.

In this bento lunch:
  • MorningStar Farms Mini Veggie Corn Dogs, organic baby carrots and organic Ketchup in mini dipper.
  • Goldfish crackers.
  • Seedless green grapes and blueberries.
Here are the supplies that I used to make and pack this lunch.

  4. Hi I am new to this site and creating "new" lunches for my son. I have question and it may seem silly but I was curious are the corndogs cold when your child eat it? If not how do you keep them warm for them to enjoy to eat at lunch? I wanted to create alternative to sandwiches and thought this would be great. Thanks for you help.

    1. Damaris S, thank you for stopping by.:) I heated the corndogs in the morning and let it cooled down and transferred to his lunchbox. There is no way to heat foods at school but he doesn't mind eating them at room temperature or slightly cold.I always include an ice pack with his lunches for food safety reasons. I hope that answers your question.
