Skull and Crossbones bento

It's been fun making Halloween themed lunches and Nikolai has been enjoying them. I used a skull shaped cookie cutter which revealed the provolone cheese eyes to which I added fruit leather cut with a small circle cutter to give it more of a haunting look. The bones were from mozzarella string cheese, cut in half lengthwise and carved the ends using a small paring knife. This lunch is packed in his Easylunchboxes container.

Skull and Crossbones Halloween bento lunch

In this bento lunch:
  • Skull shaped sandwich with mozzarella cheese stick crossbones. Pretzels.
  • Broccoli florets and baby carrots with small ghost pick.
  • Red grapes in a pumpkin shaped silicone cup with a smiling ghost cupcake pick.
Here are the supplies that I used to create and pack this lunch.
