Looks great, I've the same problem too, can see the imprint well but did not show up in the photo. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks Ming and thanks for letting me know about your experience with the photo too! I thought it happens to me only!
DeleteHey Rina! The last time you made French Toast in the Bento, I thought what a great idea!! But isn't it sloppy when you put it in the lunchbox in the morning and eat it at lunchtime? Hmm, I wonder. Have a nice day! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Midori, the french toast will not be as crunchy during lunch time but my son doesn't mind since he loves french toast.
DeleteGive it a try at home, make them in the morning, put aside for a few hours and see whether do you like the texture before sending in a lunchbox. Have a great day too Midori :-)
Thanks Rina for the hint! I will try it :D
DeleteYou are so welcome Midori and keep me updated! :-)
DeleteMidori, I have sometimes sent waffles or french toast with my kids as well and I have found that if I let it cool completely it is not as mushy. My daughter complained one day that her waffle was soggy and I realized that day I had been rushed and packed it still warm. Since then I allow it to cool first and the kids like them :)
DeleteThank you Cristi for the nice hint! I will try it! :)
DeleteYes Rina, I will tell you about it. Maybe I will try it this weekend! :D
So I finally made french Toast (in German it is Arme Ritter - poor Knights) Please look here:
