Bento Lunch: Square shaped egg and french toast sticks breakfast for lunch

I purchased some 'jumbo' eggs which worked well with our MonBento square egg molds. For some reason it is not showing clearly on my picture but it says " BON APPETIT" on the egg.

French toast sticks breakfast for lunch, square egg

In this bento lunch:
  • Crinkle cut carrots and Italian dressing for dip in small rainbow container.
  • Strawberry slices and a seedless green grape middle.
  • French toast sticks in jumbo silicone mold with a rainbow baran.
  • Organic maple syrup for french toast in mini-dipper and a square shaped egg. ~ Bon Appetit~

Here are the supplies or similar that I used to make and pack this lunch.

  2. Hey Rina! The last time you made French Toast in the Bento, I thought what a great idea!! But isn't it sloppy when you put it in the lunchbox in the morning and eat it at lunchtime? Hmm, I wonder. Have a nice day! :)

    1. Hi Midori, the french toast will not be as crunchy during lunch time but my son doesn't mind since he loves french toast.
Give it a try at home, make them in the morning, put aside for a few hours and see whether do you like the texture before sending in a lunchbox. Have a great day too Midori :-)

    4. Midori, I have sometimes sent waffles or french toast with my kids as well and I have found that if I let it cool completely it is not as mushy. My daughter complained one day that her waffle was soggy and I realized that day I had been rushed and packed it still warm. Since then I allow it to cool first and the kids like them :)
